The new Super C Marché St-Jacques officially opens
- An investment of $3.5 million -

Montreal, November 28, 2019 - After several months of construction work, the new Super C Marché St-Jacques officially opened this morning in the heart of the Ville-Marie borough. With an investment of $3.5 million, this new 14,200 ft2 urban store, the 98th location of the Québec-based grocery chain, created 50 jobs. The grand opening was held Wednesday evening, with the management team in attendance.

A new urban store design 

Located at the corner of Atateken (formerly Amherst) and Ontario streets, Marché St-Jacques, built in 1872, is one of Montréal’s oldest public market buildings. Super C Marché St-Jacques has a prime location within it and will meet a major food outlet need for the borough’s residents.

Super C: Best value for money
The new team is ready to offer the community a wide range of fresh and grocery products, with over 10,000 different, competitively priced items adapted to local demand. And offering such fresh, high-quality products at such low prices is what Super C’s reputation is built on. The Marché St-Jacques location also features a wide range of organic and natural products, a selection or craft beers, as well as Première Moisson goods. Its team is helmed by Emmanuelle Faubert, who has been deeply involved in the food industry for the past 18 years.
