An investment of nearly $3.8 million
Quebec, July 17, 2025 - After several weeks of construction, the 115th Super C store officially opened its doors this morning in the heart of Quebec City's Plateau District. Thanks to an investment of nearly $3.8 million, this new 20,800 square foot store employs 60 people, most of the former Metro employees, plus some 30 new faces. The inauguration took place on Wednesday evening in the presence of many dignitaries and members of the management.
Grocery shopping in store or online
The Super C banner, which was recognized as Quebec's leading discount retailer in terms of customer experience by the WOW Léger 2024 study, opens its doors at 3291 chemin Ste- Foy, in the building that formerly housed the Metro. In keeping with the evolving needs of consumers, customers can shop in the spacious aisles of the store or online through the click and collect option as well as home delivery. In addition, self-serve checkouts have been installed, as in all Super C stores, to speed up and improve customer service.
To celebrate this major investment in the community, Super C also presented a $5,000 cheque to Moisson Quebec, a long-time partner, notably through our food recovery program One More Bite.
